Founded in 2020 by Alexandra Manché, amanche architecture was born at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, a time when many young practices struggled simply to survive. What began as a leap of faith has grown into a resilient, women-led studio based in Sliema, working across architecture, interiors, and adaptive reuse. Today, the practice comprises a close-knit team united by curiosity, care, and commitment.

In 2025, Amanche was nominated as an Emerging Practice at the Premju Emmanuel Galizia awards.
